Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Adult Day Health Program RN to join our team at Amergis. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our program participants, promoting their optimal health and well-being.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct nursing care to program participants, including medication administration, documentation, and support.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Coordinate medical services with participants' personal physicians and residential providers.
- Document medical needs and interventions in medical nursing notes and evaluative reports.
- Oversee interns, students, and volunteers as assigned.
- Provide CPR, First Aid, and other pertinent training as trained and assigned.
- Transport participants as assigned.
- Participate in activities as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team.
- Advise the Director and staff of any medical problems that may hinder a participant's progress.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Rhode Island.
- Experience in adult day health or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic life support certification.
