Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Lutheran SeniorLife. As a member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality care to our residents, working collaboratively with other disciplines to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing duties, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Assume responsibility for total resident care on designated units, working closely with unit managers to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident satisfaction and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Practical Nurse license in good standing.
  • Experience in geriatric care, with a strong interest in working with older adults.
  • Excellent communication and observation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Word, and Excel required.
