Cardiac Sonographer Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at MaineHealth. As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will play a critical role in assisting Cardiologists in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality ultrasound exams to assist Cardiologists in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  • Promote patient safety and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Assist Cardiologists in procedures and maintain ultrasound equipment according to manual.
  • Share on-call responsibility and assist with EKG/Treadmill duties as needed.
Requirements:
  • Must possess ARDMS or CCI registry in cardiac specialty (RDCS or RCS) within one year of hire.
  • Valid Maine Driver's license.
  • Active telephone.
