Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Royal Care Certified. As a key member of our home care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients in Nassau County.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and develop individualized care plans for patients to meet their unique needs and goals.
  • Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients in their homes, focusing on daily living and work skills.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Document patient progress and communicate effectively with caregivers and families.
  • Conduct home assessments to identify and address safety concerns and provide education on adaptive techniques.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure and registration as an Occupational Therapist in New York State.
  • At least 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist in home care, with Medicare Part A experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records and other relevant software systems.
