Soliant Health is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in the Silverdale, Washington area. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations to assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to address the unique needs and goals of each patient.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve speech and language skills, as well as swallowing function.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, educators, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies, swallowing techniques, and home exercise programs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and clinical notes.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Washington.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility to obtain.
- Previous experience working in a school setting preferred.
- IEP experience is preferred.
- Experience with AAC devices preferred.
