Mill Planner Specialist

GSM Metals Inc. is seeking a Mill Planner Specialist to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in supporting efficient operations within the mill department. The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $70,000. As a Mill Planner Specialist, you will be responsible for:

Main Responsibilities:
• Maintain various reports and logs, including open order reports and machine shop reports
• Generate production travelers and update dates for distribution to relevant employees
• Report updates during daily whiteboard meetings for casting
• Collaborate with the Materials Manager to plan and manage the melt schedule
• Read and follow job specifications and all related work instructions accurately
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficient in basic math operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and interpreting bar graphs
• Knowledge of computing rates, ratios, and percentages
• Experience with computer systems, particularly JMAS and Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, and Outlook
