As a Radiologic Imaging Specialist, you will provide essential imaging services to both patients and healthcare providers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality diagnostic images while adhering to established standards of practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of and comply with all relevant regulations, policies, and standards.
- Actively engage in the development and implementation of process improvements.
- Conduct diagnostic radiographic procedures independently and proficiently.
- Operate both fixed and portable radiographic equipment with expertise.
- Deliver age-appropriate patient care through effective communication with patients and healthcare team members.
- Assess and interpret necessary data to identify patient needs accurately.
- Implement safety protocols to ensure radiation protection in accordance with departmental and state guidelines.
- Utilize proper patient identification techniques, gather pertinent clinical information, and ensure high imaging quality through appropriate technical methods.
- Review completed radiographs for technique and positioning, making necessary adjustments to uphold established standards.
Qualifications:
Required:
Certified Radiologic Technologist (RT)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from a recognized provider, current prior to hire.
Proficient in operating both fixed and portable radiographic equipment.
