Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at Swedish Health Services. As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will play a critical role in assisting with the performance of various technical procedures, including percutaneous diagnostic and interventional cardiac/vascular procedures and open surgical procedures under the direct supervision of a physician.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the performance of technical procedures, including percutaneous diagnostic and interventional cardiac/vascular procedures and open surgical procedures.
  • Participate in all daily duties necessary to perform high-quality patient care and imaging within the Cath/IR Department.
  • Obtain optimal radiographs and assist the physician in an aseptic environment.
  • Monitor patients and demonstrate knowledge of appropriate response to changes in patient condition.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of complex diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular equipment/supplies and be capable of assisting with their use.
  • Be available for on-call shifts as necessary.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a two-year invasive cardiovascular program or successful completion of a formal Radiologic Technologist program.
  • Washington Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification upon hire. Or Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire.
  • National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire. Or National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • 1 year of previous cath lab experience.
  • 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Interventional Radiology.
  • May consider less experience in an aspiring motivated candidate with RCIS licensure.
