Additionally, you will conduct code reviews, pinpoint areas for enhancement, and uphold coding standards to guarantee the highest level of software craftsmanship. Furthermore, you will ensure compliance with Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) by meticulously integrating performance, security, and scalability considerations into the design and implementation of software solutions, acting as a key transformation agent to help the team develop CI/CD capabilities and advance through a defined CI/CD maturity model.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as an advisor to leadership in developing or influencing applications, network, information security, database, operating systems, or web technologies for complex business and technical needs across multiple groups.
- Lead the strategy and resolution of intricate and unique challenges requiring comprehensive evaluation across various areas of the enterprise, delivering long-term, large-scale solutions that necessitate vision, creativity, innovation, and advanced analytical thinking.
- Translate extensive technology experience and a deep understanding of the organization's tactical and strategic business objectives into technical engineering solutions.
- Provide vision, direction, and expertise to leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions.
- Maintain awareness of industry best practices and emerging technologies, recommending innovations that enhance operations or provide a competitive edge to the organization.
- Engage strategically with professionals and managers at all levels across the enterprise, serving as an expert advisor to leadership.
- 7+ years of engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military experience, and education.
- 7+ years of proven experience in software development, particularly with cloud applications.
- 5+ years of solid understanding of cloud technologies, microservices architecture, and API integrations.
- 5+ years of excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and mentor junior engineers.
- 3+ years of experience with CI/CD and automation tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Gradle, Maven, MSBuild, NPM, SonarQube, Artifactory, Harness CD & GitOps, IBM uDeploy, Ansible.
- 5+ years of proficiency in programming languages such as Python and JavaScript, along with experience in relevant frameworks and libraries.
- Cloud certified with hands-on knowledge of Google/Azure Cloud.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka, Apache Beam, Spark, Java, Spring, Microservices, APIs, Analytics, Machine Learning, Python, and both batch and real-time data processing.
- Understanding of tools and technologies like PowerBI, Talend, Ab-initio, Informatica, Collibra, Autosys, Tableau, Hadoop, Teradata, Hive, Oracle, MongoDB, SQL Server.
- Demonstrated experience in Agile development, application design, software development, and testing.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in leveraging cloud technology to create innovative solutions that push the boundaries of advancement.
- Working experience in designing and architecting applications for deployment in one or more cloud environments (GCP, Azure).
- Ability to travel as required.
- This position is not available for visa sponsorship.
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule.
The base pay range for this position reflects the compensation offered, which may vary based on factors such as achievements, skills, experience, or work location.
