Domino's Corporate is seeking a highly skilled Yard Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for repositioning company commercial tractors and trailers on designated non-highway areas, ensuring efficient truck yard operations.
Key Responsibilities- Tractor Trailer Operations: Safely operate company commercial tractors and trailers, adhering to all relevant safety protocols and regulations.
- Yard Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the cleanliness and organization of the yard, including backing trailers to dock doors and repositioning equipment as needed.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with colleagues and management to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with logistics suppliers to ensure timely transportation of goods and materials.
- Vehicle Maintenance Records: Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and other necessary tasks.
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Experience: Six months of verifiable CMV driving experience, with a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License and Air Brakes endorsement.
- Skills: Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability: Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as well as short notice on occasion.
