Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Manager to lead our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit team at John Muir Health. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the unit, ensuring high-quality patient care, and fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and mentor a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient care and outcomes.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote quality improvement and patient safety.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to standardize and update policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
  • Participate in the annual operational planning process and execute priorities to ensure implementation of the operation plan.
  • Promote staff accountability and empowerment through formal and informal processes.
  • Accountable for appropriate consistent staffing and scheduling.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Nursing or related field required.
  • 2 years of nursing leadership experience as a Charge Nurse, Supervisor, or Manager required.
  • Previous experience in Pediatric Intensive Care required.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working within Pediatrics strongly preferred.
Certifications/Licensures:
  • RN Registered Nursing - California Board of Nursing required.
  • BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association required.
  • Specialty Certifications - ANCC American Nurses Credentialing Center required within 2 years of hire.
Skills:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
Work Shift:Exempt Salaried MGR (United States of America)

Pay Range:

$177, $266,945.00SalaryOffer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.
Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word 'exempt' on it.Scheduled Weekly Hours:40
