We are seeking a skilled Radiology Nurse to join our team at Billings Clinic. As a Radiology Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our imaging department.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in a variety of procedures, caring for patients from infancy to late adulthood, in modalities such as interventional radiology, CT, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and MRI.
- Provide moderate sedation for most procedures done in radiology, working closely with physicians to ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, with patient acuity varying from stable to ICU level of care, requiring critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to execute a plan of care appropriate to the needs of patients.
- Ensure complete, accurate, and timely entry into patient medical records, adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
- Minimum 2-year Associate Degree ASN, with a preferred 4-year Bachelor's Degree BSN within 4 years of hire.
- Experience in critical care, conscious sedation, interventional radiology, angiography, and nuclear medicine is desirable, with ACLS and PALS certification required.
