The Burks Companies, Inc. (TBC) is seeking a dedicated and skilled Floor and Carpet Cleaning Technician to join our esteemed team. We are a premier provider of support services within the hospitality and gaming sectors, and we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional cleaning solutions.
Work Schedule: This position typically involves graveyard shifts (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM), ideal for those who thrive in a night-time work environment.
Role Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive floor and carpet cleaning duties, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness.
- Execute heavy-duty maintenance tasks, including refinishing tile floors and pressure washing.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Report maintenance issues to supervisors and ensure all equipment is properly cleaned and maintained.
Compensation: We offer competitive pay ranging from $10 - $14/hour, based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as holiday and vacation pay.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
- Extensive knowledge of floor care and carpet cleaning techniques.
- A valid driver's license is required.
