Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and supportive Paraeducator II to assist teachers in special education classroom settings. The ideal candidate will provide instructional, group, and individual behavior support to enhance learning and assist with classroom management.

Responsibilities
  • Provide instructional support to teachers in special education classroom settings
  • Assist with group and individual behavior support to enhance learning
  • Support classroom management and organization
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement instructional plans
  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Successful completion of a competency assessment demonstrating knowledge and ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics
  • May require a valid driver's license and First Aid/CPR certification
