We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Catheterization Lab team at HCA Florida Mercy Hospital. As a Cath Lab RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.
Responsibilities- Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider.
- Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
- Perform the administration of prescribed medications and monitors response.
- Maintain a knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of Cardiac Cath Lab and EP Lab patients.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current State of Florida Registered RN License, or recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions).
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification via American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Advanced certifications (i.e. CEN, TNCC, etc.) preferred.
- Must have a minimum of one year acute care hospital Cath Lab/EP Lab, ER, ICU and/or PACU RN experience.
- On-Call Required.
