Job SummaryAs a Travel Multi-modality Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computerized tomography (CT) equipment to take medical images of patients for diagnostic purposes. You will work in a hospital, outpatient center, private practice, imaging center, or other healthcare facility, preparing patients for CT scans, operating CT equipment, processing images for radiologists and physicians, and handling patient records.
Responsibilities- Operate CT equipment to take medical images of patients for diagnostic purposes
- Prepare patients for CT scans, including positioning and instructing them on the scanning process
- Process images for radiologists and physicians, ensuring accurate and high-quality results
- Handle patient records, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
- At least 1 year of recent experience as a CT technologist
- ARRT Certification
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Current state license (if applicable)
