We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Consultant to join our team at KLC Consulting. As a leading provider of NIST 800-171 and CMMC certification assessments, we need an expert who can help us deliver top-notch services to our clients.

**Job Overview:**

As a Cybersecurity Consultant, you will be responsible for conducting Level 2 CMMC assessments, providing expert consulting to clients, and contributing to compliance research and technical analysis. You will work closely with our experienced team members to ensure the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Conduct CMMC Level 2 assessments to identify security gaps and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide expert cybersecurity consulting to clients to ensure they meet DoD cybersecurity requirements.
  • Contribute to compliance research and technical analysis to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and developments.
  • Support our marketing team by sharing your expertise on cybersecurity topics.
  • Assist in managing client engagement, from proposal development to report delivery.

**Requirements:**

  • Active Lead CMMC Certified Assessor (CCA) designation.
  • Excellent work ethic, attention to detail, and professional writing skills.
  • Ability to travel approximately 25%.
  • U.S. Citizenship.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Experience with NIST SP 800-171, DFARS 7012, NIST RMF, and other cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and GCP.
  • Technical experience in implementing and assessing NIST 800-171 security controls.

**Salary:** The estimated salary for this position is $170,000 per year, plus a sign-on bonus and performance bonus.
