**About Us**
Palm Beach County, a leading provider of public transportation services, is seeking a seasoned Chief Operations Officer to lead its Transportation Operations department. As a senior-level executive, you will be responsible for directing, coordinating, and overseeing the activities of multiple specialized sections within the organization.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in transit operational management, with a minimum of six years of experience and three years of management or supervisory experience. A Bachelor's Degree in Business/Public Administration or related field is required.
**Responsibilities:**
- Direct and coordinate the activities of multiple sections within the Transportation Operations department.
- Oversee and manage a team of professional staff and skilled technicians engaged in infrastructure operations and maintenance.
- Analyze and develop plans for improving transportation facilities and amenities.
- Develop and implement strategies for improving service delivery and safety.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's Degree in Business/Public Administration or related field.
- Minimum of six years of responsible transit operational management experience.
- Three years of management or supervisory experience.
