Bioinformatics Research Role at Xlysi LLC
Xlysi LLC is seeking a highly skilled Principal Data Engineer to lead our bioinformatics research efforts. As a senior member of our team, you will have the opportunity to design and implement novel data processing frameworks, collaborate with experts, and drive innovation in the field.

About the Role
In this role, you will oversee the development and implementation of large-scale data pipelines, lead cross-functional teams, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in bioinformatics and data engineering. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of programming languages, data processing frameworks, and cloud computing platforms, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of data processing frameworks and tools using Apache Spark, Hadoop, and other relevant technologies;
Oversee the development and maintenance of large-scale data pipelines to support our research initiatives;
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data processing frameworks into our research workflow;
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members;
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in bioinformatics and data engineering.
