The University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh is seeking a highly qualified and experienced leader to serve as its next Chancellor. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing higher education today and be able to develop and implement effective strategies to address them.

The Chancellor will be responsible for leading the university's efforts to promote student success, advance academic excellence, and strengthen its position as a major contributor to the state's economy.

Salary: $240,000 - $270,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

About the Job:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive plans to improve student outcomes and retention rates
  • Lead efforts to enhance the university's research profile and secure external funding
  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and collaboration among faculty, staff, and students

Requirements:

  • Masters or Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration or related field
  • At least 12 years of experience in higher education leadership, preferably in a senior-level role
  • Proven track record of success in leading large-scale initiatives and projects
