Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN or LPN to join our team in a full-time overnight shift position. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform initial nursing assessments for clients within 24 hours of admission, adhering to established program policies and state regulations.
  • Arrange appointments with healthcare providers to secure physical examinations, health screenings, and necessary tests.
  • Administer medications and supervise self-administered medications, as allowed by regulation.
  • Maintain accurate records of medical supplies and inventory, ensuring compliance with governing regulations and agency policy.
  • Counsel clients on nutrition, healthcare, self-care, and symptom management.
  • Ensure clients have appropriate medical coverage for safety, adequate care, and provider compliance.
  • Implement health seminars on topics such as HIV/AIDS, nutrition, medication education, and infectious diseases.
  • Participate in treatment and multidisciplinary team meetings, as directed.
  • Implement and ensure adherence to infection control policies and practices.
  • Provide education on health, nutrition, safety, and medication compliance.
Working Conditions
  • Required to work weekends at least once a month, including one off-shift per week, to ensure program coverage.
  • May be required to work shifts outside of assigned shifts during critical staffing shortages.
  • The minimum holiday requirement is 1 major summer holiday and 1 major winter holiday.
  • This position is deemed essential and will be required to work during inclement weather.
