Chief Anesthesiologist

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center seeks a seasoned Chief Anesthesiologist to lead its anesthesia department. As a key member of the medical center's leadership team, you will be responsible for developing strategic plans, annual goals, and financial budgets for the department.

Reporting to the Executive Director of Clinical Services, you will oversee a team of six direct reports and more than 75 FTEs across four inpatient facilities and five outpatient facilities. Your leadership will foster a collaborative environment, upholding quality standards and patient safety measures.

You will also spearhead recruitment and retention initiatives to fortify the team, leveraging your exceptional communication and relationship-building skills. Ideal candidates will possess strong, collaborative leadership experience in complex health systems or Academic Medical Centers.

Requirements include a BSN, completion of a DNP or PhD program, CRNA certification, and a minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience.
