We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Mental Health Professional to join our team at Wellpath. As a Psychologist in a correctional or detention facility, you will play a critical role in providing clinical mental health services to inmate patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical and consultation services consistent with professional standards and institutional policies and procedures.
- Conduct direct clinical services including diagnosis, treatment, psychological testing, and crisis intervention.
- Ensure compliance with ethical and professional standards of care and participate in quality improvement activities.
- Develop and implement goals and objectives for clinical services and assist in staff recruitment and selection.
- Notify appropriate personnel of serious incidents and provide professional education and staff development as needed.
- Doctorate in psychology and experience with mental health delivery systems.
- Significant professional experience in the mental field that indicates knowledge of diagnosis and treatment of psychological disorders and psychological evaluation techniques, including psychological assessment instruments.
- Licensed to practice psychology in the State of employment by the appropriate state licensing agency.
