Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance activities on facility equipment, including measurement of wear, replacement of expendables, and inspection/evaluation of operating characteristics.
  • Complete repairs, including rebuilding of pumps, valves, electrical and pneumatic solenoid devices, and air handling equipment.
  • Assist in keeping the facility clean and organized, adhering to 5S and COP principles.
  • Use CMMS software to track and manage maintenance activities.
Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in facility/plant engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Driver's license.
  • HS diploma or GED equivalent; Vocational Tech, Trades School, or Military Occupational Specialty preferred.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Experience with HVAC, air compressors, pump and plumbing maintenance, basic electrical and mechanical skills.
  • Candidates will possess an intermediate knowledge of computers and software, including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts and solve practical problems.
  • Understand business implications of decisions and treat people with respect.
Working Conditions

The physical and environmental demands required to perform the essential duties of this position include standing, walking, sitting, coordination, balance, and agility demands. The work areas may be indoor, outdoor, with loud noise, active machinery, high-pressure fluid systems, electrical equipment, confined spaces, heights, and depths.
