The Chauffeur provides safe and reliable transportation for residents to and from company-sponsored activities and medical appointments. This role also assists the activities team with setting up and conducting activities and programming for residents.
Responsibilities:- Transport residents to and from their assigned destinations in a safe and timely manner.
- Ensure the vehicle is inspected and maintained regularly to ensure safety and cleanliness.
- Verify that all passengers and their equipment are safely secured prior to departure.
- Keep accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and resident attendance.
- Assist with setting up tables and chairs for resident activities.
- Conduct activities and programming for residents.
- Participate in and attend all scheduled in-service training.
- Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations, as well as community policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or higher level of education.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- CDL license required.
- Previous experience as a driver for seniors is preferred.
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell.
- Must be able to lift or carry weight up to 50 pounds.
