Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair duty trailers with minimal supervision, including preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
- Perform air and hydraulic brake repairs, suspension, and electrical systems troubleshooting.
- Work with diagnostic computers for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Effectively communicate with customers and team members.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 1-2 years' experience as a trailer technician.
- Technical knowledge of major trailer systems and related equipment.
- Proficiency in welding steel, stainless, aluminum, and other alloys.
- Ability to work overtime.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift.
- Dependable and reliable.
- Ability to retain knowledge of standard operating procedures and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must possess a current and valid driver's license with a driving record that meets the insurability guidelines set forth by the company's insurance carrier.
