Job Summary

The Medical Technologist will play a crucial role in our laboratory team, responsible for collecting and preparing specimens, performing laboratory procedures, and reporting results accurately and efficiently. This position requires strong knowledge of physiology and laboratory procedures, as well as excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and prepare specimens for testing, ensuring accurate and timely processing
  • Perform various laboratory tests, evaluating results according to predefined criteria
  • Report and record test results in the laboratory information system
  • Maintain equipment, instruments, and work areas in a clean and organized manner
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a chemical/physical/biological or other life science
  • Relevant generalist clinical laboratory experience within the last five years
  • National Registration as an MLS(ASCP)cm, MT(ASCP), or equivalent
  • Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff, patients, and vendors
