Position Overview:
We are currently seeking skilled drivers for our paratransit service, focusing on delivering exceptional customer service to the disabled community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide safe and efficient curb-to-curb transportation for passengers.
  • Ensure passenger safety by securing them properly and assisting with vehicle entry and exit.
  • Greet passengers, manage fare payments, and maintain a secure environment.
  • Report all incidents, accidents, and mechanical issues accurately.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Valid Chauffeur License for the state of Michigan and a clean driving record.
  • Minimum age of 21 years for insurance purposes.
  • At least 5 years of driving experience.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screening, and Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
Physical Requirements:
  • 10% of work is performed indoors in climate-controlled environments.
  • 90% of work is conducted outdoors.
  • Physical activities include climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, and assisting passengers, requiring the ability to lift or handle substantial weight.
  • Frequent exposure to varying weather conditions while performing job duties.
