Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team in McMinnville, OR.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods.
  • Monitor fetal heart rate, maternal vital signs, and labor progression.
  • Assist with pain management and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Prepare and assist with deliveries, including cesarean sections and emergencies.
  • Educate patients and families on postpartum care and breastfeeding techniques.
  • Maintain accurate electronic health records and collaborate with healthcare professionals for holistic care.
  • Respond to obstetric emergencies promptly and effectively.
  • Participate in quality improvement and professional development initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Current RN license in Oregon.
  • BSN preferred.
  • 1-2 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
  • BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
  • Compassionate and patient-focused approach.
