Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

At Della Infotech, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team, and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply the nursing process to the care of patients, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Teach patients and significant others, promoting health education and empowerment.
  • Document patient care in the medical record, maintaining accurate and comprehensive records.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to effectively coordinate overall patient care.
Requirements:
  • Able to read, write legibly, and converse effectively in the English language.
  • Exhibits critical thinking and problem-solving skills, adapting to rapidly-changing patient and unit needs.
  • Demonstrates effective teaching skills, promoting patient education and empowerment.
  • Responds effectively to patient crisis/emergency situations, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
  • Proficient in the use of computer systems, including electronic medical records and other healthcare technologies.

Education and Certifications:
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Oregon.
  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
  • Trauma Nurse Core Curriculum (TNCC) certification.
  • National certification in emergency nursing (CEN or equivalent) preferred.
Experience:
  • Recent emergency nurse experience, with a focus on critical care and emergency nursing.
  • Recent (within past 5 years) acute care hospital experience, with a focus on emergency nursing and critical care.
Weekend and On-Call Requirements:
  • Possible weekend requirements, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care.
  • Possible on-call requirements, with a focus on responding to patient crisis/emergency situations.
