Job Title: Night Auditor

Residence Inn Fremont is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Night Auditor to join our team. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for reconciling all hotel cashier transactions, reviewing and compiling management reports, and ensuring the accuracy of guest billings and city ledger transactions.

Responsibilities:
  • Reconcile financial and statistical reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and distribute daily reports, including the Daily Operating Report and Discount Programs.
  • Audit and reconcile all Front Desk and Food & Beverage Cashiers work.
  • Consolidate and transmit credit card transactions on a timely basis.
  • Prioritize job functions to meet deadlines and ensure accuracy of all numbers reported.
  • Input and update financial information into the corporate communications network.
  • Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and annual data processing system functions as required.
  • Keep management informed of any unusual operational or financial events.
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction and respond to governmental inquiries.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent and/or one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field.
  • Guest Service Experience preferred.
  • Computer knowledge/skills required.
  • Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
  • Sedentary work with occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds.
  • Late/Overnight shift.
  • Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Multitasking and prioritization skills.
  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.

Salary Range: $18-$20 per hour
