Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Orthopedic Registrar to join our team at Orthopedic Associates of Hartford, P.C. This full-time position will rotate between our offices located in Hartford, South Windsor, Plainville, Farmington, Rocky Hill, Glastonbury, and Enfield.

Responsibilities:

  • Register patients, including gathering and updating demographic and insurance information
  • Collect co-pays and patient account balances
  • Room patients
  • Obtain referrals
  • Assist patients with health histories
  • Assist Medical Secretaries with phones, patient sessions, and other functions in support of patient care

Requirements:

  • High School diploma plus a minimum of two years' experience in a medical office with registration background
  • Knowledge of medical insurances
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent computer skills, including Epic EMR software, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Must have a current driver's license and auto insurance, as well as reliable transportation for travel to our various offices.
