About the Role
We are looking for a board-certified Cardiology Specialist with expertise in Heart Failure, Electrophysiology, Interventional, Invasive, and Non-Invasive Cardiology. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Assess, diagnose, and treat cardiac disease states in both inpatient and outpatient settings
* Collaborate with Hospitalist teams, other specialists, and cardiology colleagues to provide comprehensive patient care
* Participate in a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, including Valve Clinic and TAVR program
* Manage inpatient care at three hospital campuses and outpatient clinic responsibilities at eight clinic sites in the Central Illinois Region
* Perform nuclear stress tests at all three hospitals
* Maintain a call schedule requirement of 1 in 7 rotating weeknight call in the Hospital; weekend call is 7 am Friday to 7 am Monday on a 1 in 7 rotation
