Patient Volume:
Consultations vary with an average of 25 patients per day
Patient Demographics:
Serving a rural population with high acuity
Gastroenterology service division, handling multiple pathologies for adults aged 18 and above.
Department Overview:
Inpatient Gastroenterology coverage is needed. The role involves 7 on shifts for inpatient consultations and procedures, managing one of two teams. The second team will focus on the Gastroenterology teaching service. A third position will alternate shifts with current faculty, totaling 3 locum positions needed.
