Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Neurosurgeon to join our team at the Defense Health Agency Civilian Corps in Falls Church, VA. As a Neurosurgeon, you will be responsible for providing routine, non-routine, and emergency inpatient and outpatient care at Madigan Army Medical Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine, diagnose, and treat patients with a full range of neurological conditions.
  • Provide surgical and nonsurgical care for diseases and injuries.
  • Responsible for clinic, operative, and inpatient care of patients.
  • Perform clinical rounds and evaluate patients for surgery.
  • Document patient information in electronic medical records.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities and teach surgical residents.
Requirements
  • US Citizenship required.
  • Board Certified/Eligible.
  • Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy from a school in the United States or Canada approved by a recognized accrediting body.
  • Permanent, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a State, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
