Position Overview
In the role of Metal Finishing Specialist, you will be responsible for the meticulous preparation and application of primer and paint to sheet metal components utilizing a Triton paint system alongside Gremlin spray guns.

The successful candidate will be diligent and committed to delivering superior workmanship. Strong time management abilities and a focus on equipment upkeep are essential for excelling in this role. We prioritize collaboration and seek individuals who can integrate smoothly into our team and communicate effectively across various departments.
Qualifications and Skills
- Expertise in painting methodologies, materials, tools, and safety regulations
- A minimum of two years of experience in industrial painting; completion of a one-year painting program at a recognized trade institution or apprenticeship is preferred, or a comparable mix of education and experience
- Ability to evaluate painting needs and select suitable techniques to meet them
- Proficiency in interpreting and applying painting blueprints and specifications
- Consistent attainment of expected finish quality benchmarks
- Capability to accurately follow both verbal and written directives
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Aptitude for working at heights of up to 12 feet
- Team-oriented with a strong collaborative spirit
- Occasional lifting or moving of items weighing up to 100 pounds; specific visual skills such as Close Vision, Color Vision, and Depth Perception are required, along with the ability to adjust focus; regular tasks include standing, sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, hearing, walking, handling objects, and reaching with hands and arms
- Demonstrated excellent attendance record
Work Schedule
Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with potential opportunities for overtime.
Note: A practical painting assessment will be conducted during the interview process.
