We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Clerical Coordinator to join our Medical Surgical Unit team at Saint Mary's Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our unit.
Key Responsibilities:- Administrative Support: Assist with clerical duties, including patient record management, appointment scheduling, and phone calls.
- Patient Care: Provide vital sign monitoring, assist with patient transfers, and support patients with daily activities.
- Communication: Collaborate with healthcare providers, patients, and families to ensure seamless communication and care.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Certifications: BLS or CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a Nursing Assistant, Clerical Coordinator, or Unit Secretary role in an Acute In-Patient setting preferred.
Part-time position with 24 hours per week, Day Shift. Rotating weekends and holidays required.
