About the Role:

  • Clean and maintain all pertinent equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend lifespan.
  • Monitor interior and exterior equipment safety and cleanliness, performing routine maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Schedule routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors, ensuring timely completion and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Implement and enforce proper security measures for the workplace, maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees and guests.
  • Manage day-to-day facilities operations, including delegating or completing maintenance orders, and creating reports on maintenance, repairs, and other occurrences for supervisors and relevant staff.
  • Prepare facilities for changing weather conditions, collaborating with building owners and upper management on budgeting for facilities needs.
  • Respond to emergency on-call maintenance requests, providing prompt and effective resolution to minimize downtime.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5-10 years of on-the-job training from previous roles in the industry, including building maintenance with advanced mechanical skills and knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems.
  • Proficiency with repair tools and techniques, as well as the ability to lift heavy equipment and stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to speak with all levels of employees, guests, vendors, and team members.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, time management, organization, and prioritization abilities are essential.

Estimated Salary:** $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
