Position Summary: We are looking for a qualified individual with proven expertise in conducting environmental assessments and sampling. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in consulting or regulatory environments and must be capable of working independently in both field and office settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct fieldwork in various weather conditions, including rain and heat, across diverse environments such as wetlands and construction sites.
- Plan and coordinate schedules for data collection to align with project objectives.
- Manage laboratory analysis and ensure proper sample collection according to established protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of sampling activities, including field notes and project documentation.
- Analyze water usage data and perform calculations related to surface water and groundwater metrics.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to prepare and manage data tables for multiple projects.
- Assist team members in collecting field data and samples, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in environmental sciences, geology, hydrogeology, or a related field.
- Experience in adhering to regulatory guidelines for environmental sampling.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in maintaining project documentation.
