Job Summary:

The Computed Tomography Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of CT procedures using ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes. This position requires the ability to use ingenuity, initiative, and independent judgment to perform high-quality scans.

Key Responsibilities:

Obtain patients' history and explain the procedure/process to patients and/or family members.
Collaborate with internal and external healthcare team members to contribute to the plan of care for patients.
Assist in identifying and driving quality and performance improvement initiatives in collaboration with the Director/Manager of Imaging.

Requirements:

Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) within 60 days.
ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT (R) upon hire.
Certified Computed Tomography Technologist - American Registry of Radiography Technologists ARRT (R)(CT) preferred.
Licensure in the state of practice as applicable upon hire.
IV Competency within 90 days.
For caregivers hired in this role in the State of Colorado, a Fluoroscopy certification preferred.
