Hospitality Team Member

We are seeking a qualified Hospitality Team Member - Food Service to join our team at Geisinger.
This is a per-diem, part-time position (hours as needed). Non-benefits eligible.
About the Role:As a Hospitality Team Member - Food Service, you will be responsible for preparing food for patients, employees, visitors and special functions. You will maintain a customer service approach at all times when fulfilling responsibilities.
Your key duties will include:
- Preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner foods using standardized recipes and methods of preparation;
- Documenting preparation and usage of food according to established standards;
- Maintaining all quality, safety, and sanitation standards making sure all items are wrapped and stored and labeled properly during all phases of production;
- Reading and interpreting patient meal tickets, reading and confirming patient identifiers, recipes, ingredients, labels and dating.
To be successful in this role, you will need a High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) and a minimum of 2 years' experience in Food Service.
We offer competitive pay, with an estimated salary range of $$15-$18 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
