Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Theriogenology Specialist to join our team at WorkSource Oregon. As a key member of our clinical services, you will participate in the management of select cases, provide consultations, and engage in clinical mentorship of house officers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in clinical teaching and service, including primary management of select cases and consultations.
  • Teach, train, and supervise veterinary students, graduate students, and house officers during clinical rotations.
  • Contribute to scholarly activity, expanding and disseminating knowledge in the field of veterinary theriogenology.
  • Engage in institutional service and citizenship, serving on committees and participating in activities that benefit the program and larger issues.
Requirements
  • DVM or equivalent degree.
  • Diplomate of American College of Theriogenologists (ACT) or the European College of Animal Reproduction (ECAR), or qualified to sit for the ACT or ECAR certifying examination.
  • 3 years of clinical experience in veterinary theriogenology, including during residency training.
  • Clinical experience with ruminant herd health and large animal primary care.
  • Evidence of classroom/clinical teaching experience.
  • Demonstrated commitment to educational equity in a multicultural setting and a commitment to advancing the participation of diverse groups and supporting diverse perspectives.
