Strategic Leadership

  • Evaluate and identify the changing dynamics that influence the present and future requirements of information technology and system relevance in healthcare, proposing strategies and initiatives to align with the organization's overarching goals.
  • Create formal strategic and tactical plans, ensuring accountability for achieving set objectives.
  • Collaborate effectively with various stakeholders across the organization to support the mission and goals of St. Croix Health.
Operational Oversight
  • Direct and assess the programs, systems, and resources related to access and care coordination, ensuring compliance with best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Establish a governance framework for prioritizing and resolving resource conflicts associated with competing IT projects.
  • Formulate and enforce policies and procedures in line with industry benchmarks, ensuring staff compliance and competence.

Team Management and Development

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Advanced certifications or a Master's degree preferred.
Experience:
  • At least 10 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Experience in systems design and networking.
  • Familiarity with IT governance and project management best practices.
Skills:
  • Proven experience in project management and IT risk management.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead and mentor others effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of IT security best practices.
