About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pellet Mill Operations Specialist to join our team at Lignetics, Inc. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with a company that offers clean, renewable solutions for everyday life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and adjust four pellet mills, ensuring regular dryer inlet and outlet temperatures meet specifications, while monitoring bin levels.
  • Regulate material mix to achieve optimal pellet moisture and density ratio, maintaining pellet moisture within specified limits per compacted cubic foot.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, spot fires, and hot bearings, taking corrective action promptly.
  • Maintain pellet mill feed rates and adjust or change pellet mill rolls/dies as needed.
  • Complete daily reports detailing temperature readings, dried material moisture, and perform density checks per specifications.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • One to two years of production experience in an industrial setting highly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of all aspects of the production process is essential.
  • Process Controls Experience is a plus.
  • Able to pass the company's forklift certification.
  • Capable of lifting up to 80 lbs waist-high and standing for up to 12 hours per day.
  • Ability to use catwalks and climb ladders up to 60 feet high, adhering to safety standards.
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are necessary.
  • Basic math calculations are required on a daily basis.
