Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Hospitality Instructor to join our team at InsideHigherEd. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver curriculum for hospitality courses, including lectures, discussions, and hands-on training.
  • Assess student learning outcomes and provide feedback to students.
  • Participate in recruitment and articulation activities with local schools, colleges, and universities.
  • Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and administrators.
  • Maintain subject matter currency and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Two years of work experience in the hospitality industry, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Hospitality or a related field.
  • Experience teaching hospitality courses.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and developments.
