Your responsibilities will include monitoring and directing workload, providing consultative and diagnostic results to clinicians, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities:

1. Collect and analyze data to evaluate products, procedures, processes, and laboratory or program needs.
2. Consult with healthcare providers and professionals regarding patient care and program issues.
3. Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, establish and review procedures and policies.
4. May monitor personnel performance, counsel employees, and provide input into performance evaluations.
5. May provide input into the budgetary process by identifying capital equipment needs and anticipating laboratory or program needs.
6. May teach Clinical Laboratory Science students, Pathology residents, and fellows, and new employees.
7. Monitor daily operation of laboratory or program.
8. Review patient testing results, quality control, maintenance, troubleshooting, and management reports.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree required with a minimum of 24 semester hours of science credits.
* Requires MLS/MT (ASCP), MT (NCA), or MT (AMT) certification.
* Requires three years of experience at the medical laboratory technologist, cytotechnologist, or histotechnologist level.

Work Environment:

* Full-time position
* 40 hours per week
* Day job
* On-site work assignment

Salary Range:

$27.89-$40.09 (Hiring Range)

Pay offers are determined by experience and internal equity.
