About the Job

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) plays a vital role in ensuring high-quality patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the ICU unit during the designated shift.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, collaborating with other management team members.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
  • Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in Texas or a compact state.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Current ACLS certification.
  • CCRN certification.
  • PREFERRED: 1-2 years of critical care experience, CCRN, TNCC.
