X-Ray Tech PRN Position

Northern Monmouth Regional Surgery Center is seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to join our team on a per diem basis.
The ideal candidate will have experience in operating x-ray equipment, performing radiographic procedures, and assisting with fluoroscopic examinations. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are essential.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate x-ray equipment to produce high-quality radiographs
- Assist with fluoroscopic examinations and special radiographic studies
- Position patients for each anatomical view specified, using immobilization and protective devices as required
- Monitor accessory equipment and report any changes in patient condition to attending medical staff
- Record and label film with identifying information, and sort as required
- Consult with lead x-ray tech and radiologist to ensure compliance with established standards of quality
- Process film in accordance with standardized procedures and maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Technology
- 1-2 years of experience in C-Arm and Portable x-rays in an operating room setting
- ARRT Registered, State MRT, and CPR Current
- Knowledgeable of local, state, federal, and Joint Commission Regulations
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects
- Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families
