About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our team at Good Samaritan Society. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide resident-centered care, including daily living assistance, bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing/undressing.
  • Assist residents with meals and snacks, providing water and supplements as needed.
  • Collect non-invasive body fluid specimens and gather vital signs.
  • Participate in departmental/organization committees and task forces as needed.
  • Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
  • Minimum age of 16.
  • Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
  • Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position.
