Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Lead to join our team at Firehouse Subs. As a Shift Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our restaurant by assisting the General Manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including customer service, food preparation, and inventory management.
  • Deploy team members and delegate tasks to complete daily systems and procedures with 100% integrity.
  • Ensure that customer product and service standards are met, and foster an environment of teamwork among team members.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer and store experience by greeting and thanking every customer with a smile and eye contact.
  • Execute quality store operations, including cleaning the store, small wares, merchandise, and physical plant as necessary.
  • Operate food preparation machinery, adhere to all food, safety, and security guidelines, and operate cash registers and handle cash transactions while adhering to all cash handling policies.

Requirements:

  • Computer skills, including some Microsoft software and register skills.
  • Ability to stand, bend, reach, and scoop throughout assigned shifts.
  • Ability to be mobile in walk-in refrigerators and freezers with temperatures ranging from 40° F to -10° F.
